Half of immersion tubes reached mm-level docking and realized 7 consecutive dockings with a 1mm tolerance for the “Shenzhong Accuracy”. This surpasses the five centimeters error specified by design.
The successful application of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel not only verifies once again the fine positioning ability of Beidou navigation system but also shows its vast prospects in ocean engineering field.
